NAF Aircraft Missing In Adamawa

A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) aircraft, with registration num­ber NAF 466,which was said to be on a routine operational mission in Adamawa State has been reported missing. It was said to have left Yola on the 12th of  September  at about 10:45a.m.

A statement by the Director, Defence Information (DDI), Brigadier General Chris Olu­kolade, said the aircraft, which had two pilots on board, was expected to have returned to Yola, at about 12, noon the same day but failed to do so, thus resulting to the military declaring the plane missing after efforts to establish contact with the aircraft failed.

Already search and rescue efforts have commenced to establish contact with the crew.

Meanwhile, acting Gov­ernor of Adamawa State, Al­haji Ahmadu Fintiri  yesterday sympathised with the Nigeria Air Force and the entire mili­tary over the missing of one its fighter jets confirmed to have crashed in the state while on a mission to flush out insurgents in some towns.

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Solomon Kumangar, the acting gover­nor said the people of the state were praying for the safe return of the aircraft’s pilots to their families.

    Scamp,How can you put MCBD, WCRS and CHI on the same level as LOWE, LOWE have probably had the worst season with it’s client and department head losses?I would put them just before VCCP.
