GLO drops two more Ambassadors

By on August 19, 2011

GLO has again dropped two ambassadors, Kate Henshaw Nuttal and Jim Iyke. The Telecommunications Company failed to renew the contract on these two stars when it expired in May.

They arrived at this decision when it became obvious that they could no more put up with the excesses of the two stars.

It was learnt that Jim Iyke who reportedly used to be the highest paid in the deal was almost never available for very important assignments while Kate on her part gave tight restrictions on how she wants to be organized and asking to be given a notice ahead long enough, before any assignment. On one occasion, even after been given due notice, she still did not show up for a commercial shoot in South Africa after a grand reception had been arranged to welcome her arrival. Eventually, a line was drawn.

The three who made up the GLO Ambassador list this time are: Kunle Afolayan(Producer of award winning FIGURINE and IRAPADA), Odunlade Adekola, a reputable Yoruba actor, and a Nigerian Hausa actress Jamila Umar Nagudu .

According to sources, GLO signed them up as a result of their professionalism and fine record.

Congrats to the new Ambassadors..We hope to see more of them soon.
